13 more days until the mid-term exam....

Saturday's homework: 80 miles (B+). 55 miles in the morning, 25 miles in the afternoon. Got beat in the sprint by the guy that was definitely faster.
Sunday's homework, 50 miles (B-). Felt Saturday's legs and couldn't make the necessary jumps. Do not have the fitness for back-to-back efforts. Went to Murphy's to wish Velo Allegro member Tom a fond farewell to Ohio. He was also one of Velo Allegro's founding members, dating back to the days of Long Beach Velo Club in 1987.
Monday's homework, 50 miles (D-). Not a good day today. Complete training failure, and the only reason I didn't receive an "F" was because my diet was in-line with the calories burned, and those calories weren't that crappy.

Comments:
Train smarter...not harder...Ha!

Hey senior what will happen if you don't get a large enough field size for the CAT 4 race? Will you punish us and throw us together with the 5s?

NO, I will not combine fields as it's not stipulated in the race flyer...think of a Cat 4 crit in North Dakota...those fields are never full like they are in So Cal. If the minimum fields sizes are not met, then upgrade points will be adjusted due to field size, but racers will still get points. Those with teams should show up in force so they can block (not chase each other down like they do in the IVs).

Sounds awesome man! Thanks again for your hardwork. I enjoy reading your rants!
