Really, I prefer all of the fast people to be racing Como St. on Oct 11th, Nov 15th, Dec 13th

I refuse to travel to Ohio, Nebraska, Alabama, or any other state to get my upgrade points to Cat. 1. Instead, I'm gonna race my own races in the off season because there ain't nuthin' in the USCF rulebook that says that upgrade points gotta be "earned" during the race season....thank goodness for loopholes.
That being said, it would be appreciated if the really, really super-fast racers had something else to do on race day. Now, unless I really pissed off some super-fast racers, and that could be a possibility, there's no reason for them to come and spoil it for me since I've scraped the bottom of the barrel for the prizelist.
The last time I did something like this, it was the Bare Bones Bike Race, and I totally took it on the shorts...but that was 7 years ago. I don't want the money, I just want the points...any moron can go out and make money but it's harder to grab points.
And here's another thing: if anyone tries to go to Greg Aden and upgrade in category and they are on that fence where Greg could deny it, then the 1st thing Greg should hit them in the ass with is why they didn't race these races specifically for these guys. And if you think that Greg's gonna be a hard-ass, just wait until someone asks me for an upgrade and I check the signup rosters! ha ha! Unless you were in the hospital, all those "I was at Havasu so I couldn't race" excuses are gonna fall on very fast, but deaf ears! :)
Besides, smart racers stay fit in the off-season anyway, whether they ride Como St., Simi Valley ride, race Cyclo-Cross or velodrome. I know that these races are helping me watch what I eat, I mean, I'm not peaking for these races, but because I know I gotta race 'em, I might just have the best off-season yet, where I'm not all fat and outta shape.
