TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION
State's tax withholding bump-up starts today -- Some call it California's cash advance. Effective today, the amount of state income taxes withheld from California workers' paychecks will increase 10 percent. Mark Glover in the Sacramento Bee -- 11/1/09. This is a permanent pain in my behind. California, without permission, can just start taking away more money from its workers. It sickens me that this can be done without so much as requiring taxpayer feedback.

You know how California's taxes are spent? One of my neighbors, who I refer as the tax cheats, spend their money on a big house in a gated community, baby daddy #3 drives a high-end Lexus & rides a BMW motorcycle while baby momma drives a high-end Acura. Meanwhile, they are using California's WIC program-California's Dept. of Public Health: Women, Infants & Children Program. Participants gotta meet income guidelines but who cares because the taxpayer's flipping the bill. My other neighbor, who is on Medicaid, drives around in a brand-new Range Rover.

I'm not upset that they're circumventing & gettin' over the system, I'm just sick of paying for real benefits that go to people that can afford it on their own & don't need it. You don't see me trying to be labeled as clinically & officially "depressed" so I can immediately invoke Social Security Income benefits for the rest of my life...otherwise knowns as the "crazy check" that John Q. Taxpayer pays for.

PHYSICIAN CONVICTED IN CYCLING CASE
A physician accused of deliberately injuring two cyclists by slamming on his car’s brakes on a narrow Brentwood road last year was convicted Monday of assault with a deadly weapon, mayhem and other serious criminal charges. Jack Leonard in the Los Angeles Times. His wife, allegedly not an idiot scumbag, was at his side as they walked out of court. What kind of person stays married to a guy so angry that he attempts to kill a couple of cyclists, then tries to lie about his true intentions? Oh yeah, the kind that stays married to the wallet.

Hopefully there will be some cyclist/webmaster that will continue to track this bastard down and publicize his full name, his felony convictions, and his home address so other cyclists know where he lives & breathes. For what he did to Ron & Christian, Dr. Felony should be afraid of cyclists for every day of his miserable life. Don't even get me started on how this piece of crap wasn't man enough to own his actions, then proceeded to waste the taxpayer's time & money by forcing a jury trial and not plea bargaining. I've been to interviewing & interrogation schools and the LAPD officer has no motivation to lie, but Dr. Thompson sure does, because if enough morons believe his lies, then he won't be convicted.....whoops, too late! At the end of the day, Dr. Thompson used his 3,000+lb. hunk of metal because his fat, 60-year-old muscles won't do what he wanted to do to Ron & Christian, and that was to hurt them & hurt them badly. A bully by any other name...

I truly hope that he is sent to state prison and that he is not allowed to "buy" his way into some country club jail stint like spending a year or two at the Seal Beach jailhouse & wear some monitoring bracelet. Maybe having his butt stretched to mimic the Lincoln Tunnel by his bunk mate necessarily is not a bad thing and would remind him of the pain he inflicted on Ron & Christian. I truly hope that Ron & Christian take every single penny Dr. Thompson owns, and if he tries to hide it thru corporations-that they "pierce" the corporate veil and take those monies, too. Dr. Thompson, after his prison sentence & civil forfeitures, should be left homeless & forced to giving hummers to other homeless people for spare change.
